You’ve stumbled upon this lonely one post blog, now what? I’m Ray and I’d like to welcome you to the beginning of my blog.

I finally decided to buckle down and start my own blog. I’ll admit, at first it felt like I had to pick only one topic but I wasn’t feeling it. Instead, I’ve decided to cover everything I like. So I guess that would make this a lifestyle blog.

What interests me? Honestly, a lot of things interest me but here are just a few to start with:

• Art: I was once a fine arts major but I’ve only recently taken up oil painting. I also love to take pictures of anything that sparks my creativity. All the photos that are posted on this blog are my own, unless otherwise stated.
• Baking: I love baking and can spend hours researching baking methods and techniques.
• Cooking: I love having others sit down to a delicious home cooked meal. (It must be pretty obvious by now, I love eating.)
• Traveling: I’ve been fortunate to be able to do a bit of traveling and regularly visit family across the U.S.
• Reading: It can be a bit addicting and I’m always looking for suggestions.
• Sewing: I make baby blankets for gifting and regularly sew patches on to uniforms.
